  • Ensure responsive performance and easy administration for archival and content updates.

Scope of Work

  • Delivered complete custom theme design and WordPress development based on Ember Marketing’s design mockups.

  • Structured key archives: Family Databases, Surname Indexes, Genealogical Records, Publication Listings, Membership Pages, History Content, and Donation/Shop functionality.(gottschee.org)

  • Installed and configured e-commerce capabilities for publications and memberships.

  • Built an organizational structure that supports expanding content, archival uploads, and regular updates.

Design & Development

The new website reflects GHGA’s archival mission with a clean, navigable layout that clearly segments genealogical research tools, memberships, historical context, and publications. Navigation menus are structured for rapid access to records, surnames, archives, and membership information. The theme is responsive across devices and optimized for readability and long content formats like historical articles and record listings.(gottschee.org)

  • Created an easy-to-manage infrastructure for GHGA to grow and manage archival content.

  • Supported nonprofit goals with clear membership pages, donation/shop functions, and educational history access.
